Founded in 1899, Austin Country Club is one of the oldest existing clubs in Texas and home to Harvey Penick, one of the greatest golf instructors who ever lived. YOUR DAY AS A HOST AND TAKE-OUT

As a full- or part-time Host and Take-Out, you will start your day with the sun shining over beautiful Lake Austin, greeting our members with a friendly smile at the host stand. As the heartbeat of our country club's dining experience, you will seamlessly manage reservations, waitlists, and the flow of guests. Your expert multitasking skills will ensure every take-out order is processed efficiently, and you will easily provide a welcoming atmosphere that makes every member feel at home.

Collaborating with our culinary team, you'll oversee the setup and breakdown of dining areas, ensuring everything is immaculate and ready for service. From answering questions about our exquisite menu offerings to packaging orders with precision, your role will be vital in maintaining our club's reputation for outstanding service.

SCHEDULE & QUALIFICATIONS

Schedule: This exciting hospitality opportunity offers both full-time and part-time schedules with flexible shifts ranging from 4-8 hours. Candidates must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays, with the possibility of split shifts.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting (host or club experience preferred)
• Knowledge of food, wine, beer, and proper service techniques
• A positive, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and stand for extended periods
