THE BASICS
In this personal training role, you work directly with our members to develop custom exercise plans that meet their individual needs and fitness levels. Leading one-on-one sessions and group classes, you guide members through their exercise plans and motivate them to do their best. You help them stay safe by observing their form, offering suggestions, and adjusting plans as needed. Throughout your sessions, you maintain a positive environment where members can grow and try new things. You stay on top of fitness trends and collaborate with personal training professionals to enhance our members' experiences!
Here's what we need from our Personal Trainer:
- Personal trainer certification from a recognized organization such as NASM, ACE, ACSM, or NSCA
- CPR/AED certification OR ability to obtain one
- Proven personal training experience with a track record of successful client outcomes
- Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, nutrition, and injury prevention
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed
PREFERRED CRITERIA
- Bachelor's degree in a field like exercise science or kinesiology
- Experience working in a country club or high-end fitness environment
- Exercise certifications (i.e., yoga or strength training)
