Austin Bridge & Road is seeking a Safety Administrator to support one of our projects in Austin, Texas. The Safety Administrator will manage subcontractor safety documents, enroll them in the ROCIP program, and schedule training. The role also includes attending safety meetings, assisting with event planning, and utilizing Microsoft Office and Procore.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize all subcontractor safety documents.
- Enroll subcontractors into the ROCIP program.
- Schedule and coordinate ROCIP training sessions for subcontractors.
- Ensure all required safety documents are submitted by subcontractors in a timely manner.
- Send reminders to managers and subcontractors for missing or overdue safety documents.
- File and maintain safety documents for the entire job site on a daily basis.
- Update and maintain safety documents as needed throughout the project.
- Attend and document safety meetings, ensuring all relevant topics are covered.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of incident and injury reports.
- Support event planning and assist with presentation development for safety meetings.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience using Procore or similar project management software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and experience in safety documentation.
- Ability to effectively communicate with subcontractors, managers, and project teams.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work full-time, on-site in Austin, Texas.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a construction safety or administrative support role.
- Familiarity with ROCIP (Rolling Owner Controlled Insurance Program) processes is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
