What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities - Part Time position at Austin FC?
Austin FC joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as the League’s 27th club in January 2019. Austin FC began competing in MLS in April 2021 and played its first match at home on June 19, 2021, in the new, 100% privately financed, state-of-the-art Q2 Stadium. Austin FC currently holds the longest active sellout streak in MLS.
Austin FC is actively seeking a part-time Facilities Teammate who will work with a team to assist with the general upkeep and maintenance of Q2 Stadium and St. David’s Performance Center. This position will also assist during events to include set up and repairs to create an above and beyond environment for every guest at Q2 Stadium.
This position will be based in Austin, TX and the role will be in-person based in Q2 Stadium.

You Will:
· Assist with general upkeep and maintenance at Q2 Stadium and St. David’s Performance Center; and
· Support the Director of Facilities and Facilities Coordinator in all aspects of maintenance functions; and
· Make cosmetic repairs such as patching, painting, and other general maintenance work; and
· Check fixtures, lightning, and signs for proper operation; and
· Respond and complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner; and
· Keep all work areas to include storage areas neat and safe; and
· Communicate effectively with customers.
You Have:
· Experience within the sports, entertainment, or hospitality industry preferred
· Ability of operating hand and power tools
· Carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, and painting knowledge preferred
· Electrical experience is a plus
· Ability to lift and maneuver a minimum of 50 pounds
· Ability to stand, carry, walk, sit, push, pull and move continuously during work hours
· Ability to work independently and take initiative
· Technical or prior field experience in maintenance or facilities a plus
