Fire Protection Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fire Protection Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding, with the ability to install, maintain and inspect fire protection systems. This role involves working closely with customers, primarily in the commercial and industrial markets, to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. Training will be provided for the right candidate that has a mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Duties

Design and develop fire protection systems in accordance with local codes and regulations.

Conduct inspections of fire protection systems, ensuring they meet safety standards.

Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fire safety equipment.

Perform field service tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of fire systems.

Use tools for system testing and diagnostics.

Provide technical support and training to clients on the operation of fire safety equipment.

Requirements

Proven experience in fire protection or a related field is preferred.

Strong mechanical knowledge and experience working with low voltage systems.

Familiarity with fire suppression system inspection processes is a plus.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.

Experience as a service technician is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per year
