Painter (La Porte, TX)- Austin Industrial (BAYSTAR)

Austin Industrial, Inc. - We are currently seeking an experienced Painter to work onsite in La Porte, TX.
This position requires a Valid Driver's License.
This position is a long-term position working 4/10's. Pay rate: $26.00/hr. No Per Diem.

Painter

Must ensure all painting needs are conducted in a safe, efficient, accurate, and timely manner.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the safe preparation and painting of parts and equipment.
Paint products using appropriate skills including, but not limited to, brush, roller, and spray equipment.
Use safe working practices as directed.
Perform assigned tasks under the direction of Manager or their designate and participates as an effective crewmember.
Bring technical problems encountered to the Manager or their designate for resolution.
Work to improve efficiency to achieve productivity and delivery goals.
Organize and maintain personal and company tools, equipment, and work area in a professional manner.
Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, procedures and programs, including but not limited to the process map, support processes, safety and environmental requirements.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required for this Position:

Education – no minimum education requirements.

Experience – 2 years' experience as a Painter in the industrial petrochemical industry.

License/Certification - Valid Driver's License and TWIC Card with Pin # required.
