Quality Technician (Artesia, NM)-Austin Industrial

Austin Industrial, Inc. is hiring for an experienced Quality Technician for our Holly Frontier project in Artesia, NM.
This position requires a Valid Driver's License.
This is an ongoing long-term maintenance position working a 5/8’s schedule. No per diem offered.

Quality Technician

Inspects accepts and/or rejects work performed in compliance with applicable codes and specifications.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand and work within the company's quality control standards, procedures, and codes.
• Monitor compliance to company protocols during production and operations.
• Perform regular audits to ensure operations adhere to quality standards.
  Conduct inspections and reviews to check for conformity in products or processes.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, quality checks, and audit results.
  Complete necessary documentation to comply with internal and external quality standards.
• Ensure that tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
  Carry out various clean-up and maintenance activities to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  Wear appropriate personal safety equipment (PPE) and observe safety rules.
• Perform other tasks as assigned that contribute to the company's quality control efforts.

Qualifications Required for this Position:

Education – High school diploma or equivalent

Experience – 3-5 years of experience in quality control or assurance, with a focus on industrial maintenance, construction, or turnarounds. Previous experience with quality oversight in a chemical, petrochemical, or refinery environment
