Position: BC/BP Emergency Medicine Physician (ABEM or AOBEM)
Position Profile:
- Emergency Department (ED) Beds: 15
- Coverage:
- 36 hours of physician coverage daily
- 24 hours of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage daily
- Shift Times for Physicians:
- 6 AM - 6 PM
- 11 AM - 11 PM
- 6 PM - 6 AM
- Locum Requirement:
- Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends is essential
- Willingness to work at the main hospital as well as affiliated Freestanding Emergency Rooms (FSERs) preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in the ED
- Collaborate with site directors, physicians, APPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in the care and management of patients, ensuring optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Experience and proficiency in emergency medical care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to varying work environments and schedules
