Assignment Length : 4-month contract with the option to extend Job Overview : We are seeking a board-certified Pediatric Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team for a 4-month assignment, with the potential to extend. This role focuses on providing exceptional pediatric care for patients ranging from newborns to 18 years old, with an emphasis on acute care, chronic illnesses, and wound care. Key Responsibilities : Deliver comprehensive pediatric care for patients from newborn to 18 years old. Manage pediatric acute care needs, chronic conditions, and wound care. Perform well-child checks and routine pediatric care assessments. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including MAs, RNs, and front-office staff. Work under the guidance of a supervising physician who is on-call and available on-site as needed. Allocate time for administrative tasks, including charting, with dedicated admin hours. Position Details : Schedule : Flexible full-time schedule, up to 40 hours per week. Example : 36 hours of direct patient care and 4 hours for administrative tasks. Location : Potential for work at multiple sites within the system. Mileage reimbursement provided for inter-site travel during shifts. EMR System : EPIC Support Staff : Supervising physician, MAs, RNs, and front-office team. Qualifications : Board-certified Physician Assistant (PA). Wound Care Certification (WCC) required.
