What you will do:

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans based on the curriculum sequence
• Prepare and maintain the learning environment
• Implement classroom systems to foster independence and the development of executive functioning skills
• Facilitate student inquiry by guiding students in identifying and developing research questions
• Design and implement projects that bring lessons to life
• Connect learning to real-world issues and challenges
• Foster a classroom culture that values creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
• Encourage student voice and choice in the learning process
• Foster social interaction and collaboration among students
• Encourage respectful communication and conflict resolution

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Masters degrees
• Experience as lead teacher a PLUS
• Montessori experience or certification a PLUS
