Responsibility
Maintain appropriate production schedules and inventory levels to help company satisfy customer requirements. Plans and established production schedules for manufacturing areas, involving diversified parts, press, and assembly to conform to requirements of the master production schedule. Monitors material inventories, tracks progress of production and reviews factors that affect schedules. Make the necessary modification to schedules, issuing orders to the appropriate department due to revisions. Direct the work activities of one or more employees in the production control functions.
Support (ATA) efforts to promote Corporate Social Responsibility, (CSR) and ensure activities are carried out in cooperation with G-TEKT CSR, and Corporate Governance initiatives and activities to ensure compliance in functional areas of responsibility. Support the Corporate Governance Policy of Austin Tri-Hawk Automotive and the Objectives of:
Meeting challenges of changed legal and business environment.
Enhancing the trust of ATA among customers, associates, and society.
Implementing activities to improve ATA business operations using a strategy of Steady Compliance.
Accountable to
Deputy Plant Mgr, Plant Mgr
Qualifications
- Experience in production and inventory control;
- Expertise in computerized manufacturing systems, preferably in PLEX programming and/or set-up;
- Production execution
Leadership
- Model proper, respectful and courteous communications with all associates and guests
- Foster continuous improvement in production planning
- Model and mentor proper process procedures and part problem solving.
Service
- PLEX programming parameter administration.
- Manage inventory accounts for production.
- Ensure production reporting accuracy and timeliness.
- Support ISO-9001 / ISO-14001 requirements.
- Assist ensuring stamped completed final assembly and sub-assembly levels are maintained.
Operations
- Set-up computerized factory calendar for production scheduling.
- Discuss production issues for resolution with Coordinators.
- Compare data obtained between the actual production and the plan.
- Create reports for use by management.
