Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic basketball Coach/trainer to lead and inspire young kids in youth basketball. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in coaching and education, with the ability to foster a positive and motivating environment for participants of all skill levels.

Work Location: In person
This role requires a commitment to developing athletes' skills, promoting teamwork, and ensuring safety during all activities.
Duties
- Leading a youth basketball team in practices and tournaments.
- Developing and implementing practice and training plans.
- Develop training programs that enhance physical fitness, technical skills, and strategic understanding of the basketball
- Implement behavior management techniques to ensure a respectful and productive training environment.
- Supervise practice sessions and competitions, providing constructive feedback to improve performance.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to safety protocols during training and events.
- Organize team-building activities that promote camaraderie and sportsmanship among athletes.
- Assist in planning and executing events or competitions, including logistics and participant coordination.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Basketball.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate athletes effectively.
- Experience in behavior management strategies to maintain discipline during practices and competitions
- Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, training sessions, and event logistics.
- Passion for youth basketball and a commitment to fostering a positive athletic experience for all participants.
- All coaches must pass a background check.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
