This position plays a pivotal role in the legal department, providing expert advice and guidance on a variety of complex legal matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of agreements, ensuring the company's compliance with regulations, and providing legal support to various business units. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where innovation, creativity, and strategic thinking are highly valued.Responsibilities : Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of corporate agreements, including prime brokerage agreements, ISDA, trading documentation, derivatives, swaps, and other related documents.Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of issues, including securities lending, credit lending, investment advisory, derivatives transactions, futures, and executive documentation.Ensure the company's compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including SEC, KYC, and AML.Collaborate with various business units to provide legal guidance on various strategic initiatives.Participate in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and risk management.Provide training and guidance to business units on legal matters, including contract negotiation, legal risks, and compliance.Participate in the management and resolution of legal disputes, including litigation and arbitration.Qualifications : A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.Must be a member in good standing of a state bar.Minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, with a focus on financial services.Extensive experience with prime brokerage agreements, ISDA, corporate agreements, trading documentation, derivatives, swaps, SEC, KYC, AML, prime brokerage, securities lending, credit lending, investment advisory, derivatives transactions, futures, executive documentation.Strong knowledge of the technology industry and the legal issues related to it.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.Strong commitment to professional ethics and integrity.#J-18808-Ljbffr
