Civil Litigation Attorney needed in Charlotte, NC to $200K$140,000 - $200,000Charlotte, NC 1Top North Carolina based litigation defense law firm representing businesses throughout the southeast. Clients range from individuals and small businesses to large international corporations and municipalities.The partners are seeking an associate (4 - 8 years experience) with litigation experience, specifically with civil litigation experience. Strong written and oral advocacy skills, including report writing and a litigation background are essential for success in this role. The incoming attorney will have the ability to work in on a hybrid schedule. This is a strong opportunity for career-minded insurance law attorneys in a forward-thinking organization offering opportunities for professional advancement.Responsibilities : Handle all phases of cases from inception to resolution.Conduct research to support legal proceedings and to formulate a defense or to initiate legal action.Represent the firm and its clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Take and defend depositions.Collaborate with senior associates and partners on complex litigation matters.Provide advice and legal counsel to clients regarding their legal rights and obligations.Stay updated with changes in legislation that may affect clients and the practice of civil litigation.Requirements : Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.Must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina.Minimum of 2 years of experience.Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills, report writing skills a plus.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.For more information, call or text 949-996-7883 or email pamela.mead@jobot.com.#J-18808-Ljbffr
