The Job
In this role you will create content across multiple platforms that aligns with ABC strategy and supports the achievement of Regional & Local’s objectives, as part of the ABC Great Southern team in Albany.
- Provide in-studio production support, managing talk-back callers and guests.
- Contribute to the Local Emergency Coverage plan and communicate with stakeholders.
- Create engaging content for multiple platforms under the Local Editor's direction.
- Develop and share local content across ABC teams, and cross-promote other ABC content.
- Engage with communities to find and tell relevant stories reflecting Australia's diversity.
About You
You'll have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent skills and experience.
- Proven ability to create original and engaging audio and cross-platform content.
- Strong editorial skills, including sourcing, analysing information, and exercising sound judgment.
- Passion for storytelling that reflects Australia’s diversity and ability to source authentic community content.
- 15.4% ABC Nominated Super.
