Aurora’s Detection and Response team’s mission is to identify, contain and eradicate cybersecurity threats in the Aurora software, hardware, and services.
We are searching for an experienced Security Operations Engineer with strong experience in building and managing a Security Operations program, preferably for the autonomous vehicle platform. Job level is negotiable based on experience.
In this role, you will :
- Monitor, investigate and respond to security threats across Aurora systems and networks
- Continuously improve cybersecurity response operations
- Develop Security Operations learning and development materials
- Grow the presence and thought leadership of Security Operations
- Define, implement and track Security Operations KPIs
- Participate in on-call rotation for incident response and escalations
- Prepare and present Security Operations vision and strategy for Security leadership

The base salary range for this position is $220k-$352K per year. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
