Key Responsibilities
- Operate a passenger van to transport citizens to various locations in a safe and efficient manner.
- Receive driving assignments from the dispatcher and plan daily driving routes based on schedules for the most efficient route.
- Follow assigned daily schedules and report any additions or cancellations to base.
- Assist passengers with packages, parcels, and carrying groceries.
- Maintain radio contact with base and report complaints, accidents, or injuries.
Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma/GED and a current and valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- One year of experience working with the public or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the above-listed knowledge, skills, and abilities commensurate with the requirements of this job.
- Ability to travel out of town and locally and work non-standard hours.
