Engineering Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in electrical engineering, particularly in PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) with a focus on Siemens systems. The ideal candidate will also have significant expertise in mechanical design and fabrication. This role will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the successful design, development, and implementation of complex engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among team members.
• Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and adherence to timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct research data collection to inform design decisions and improve project outcomes.
• Utilize CAD software for designing and fabricating components as per project specifications.
• Implement GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) practices to maintain high-quality standards in engineering designs.
• Develop systems engineering processes to enhance product development efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum engineering principles into projects when applicable.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, promoting professional development within the team.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems with an emphasis on PLC programming, Siemens automation systems, and industrial control.
• Manage mechanical design projects, including structural analysis, prototyping, and fabrication processes.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Continuously improve engineering processes and methodologies.
• Provide technical guidance and support for troubleshooting complex issues in both electrical and mechanical domains.

Skills

• Proficient in systems engineering methodologies and practices.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Experience with CAD software for design and fabrication tasks.
• Knowledge of GD&T standards for quality assurance in engineering designs.
• Excellent math skills for problem-solving and analytical tasks.
• Familiarity with project scheduling tools and techniques.
• Ability to conduct thorough research data collection for informed decision-making.
• Experience or knowledge in quantum engineering is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
