Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in electrical engineering, particularly in PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) with a focus on Siemens systems. The ideal candidate will also have significant expertise in mechanical design and fabrication. This role will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the successful design, development, and implementation of complex engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the engineering team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among team members.
- Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and adherence to timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct research data collection to inform design decisions and improve project outcomes.
- Utilize CAD software for designing and fabricating components as per project specifications.
- Implement GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) practices to maintain high-quality standards in engineering designs.
- Develop systems engineering processes to enhance product development efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum engineering principles into projects when applicable.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, promoting professional development within the team.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems with an emphasis on PLC programming, Siemens automation systems, and industrial control.
- Manage mechanical design projects, including structural analysis, prototyping, and fabrication processes.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Continuously improve engineering processes and methodologies.
- Provide technical guidance and support for troubleshooting complex issues in both electrical and mechanical domains.
Skills

- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
