As we continue to grow, we're looking for skilled and dedicated HVAC subcontractors to join our team on a per-job basis.

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced HVAC professionals to assist with a wide range of residential HVAC services, including high-efficiency system installations, precise refrigerant charge adjustments, advanced diagnostics, and comprehensive preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, including heat pumps, variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, and ductless mini-splits, and be capable of delivering top-tier service while upholding our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Execute installations, maintenance, and repairs of residential HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to local and state regulations.
• Perform detailed system diagnostics, including refrigerant recovery and charging, superheat and subcooling calculations, and airflow measurements.
• Provide expert recommendations on energy-efficient upgrades and system improvements.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and the Authentic Air and Heat team.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local building codes, OSHA regulations, and EPA standards.

Requirements:

• Valid EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Handling Certification.
• Florida DBPR HVAC Contractor License.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and I-9 documentation.
• Commercial vehicle insurance and a valid workers' compensation exemption or insurance policy.
• Current general liability insurance.
• Proven experience with residential HVAC systems, including advanced knowledge of heat pumps, air distribution systems, and indoor air quality products.
• Own tools and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: $97,474.00 - $106,836.00 per year
