What You’ll Do
The Senior Accounts Payable Accountant will join our rapidly growing Finance team and report to the Director, AP. You’ll manage all incoming invoices and will be responsible for the full cycle accounts payable process. You’ll interact with internal and external business partners to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and processes are running efficiently.
What you’ll be working on
- Manage all incoming invoices (via hard copy, Finance email, mail, internal submission)
- Validate invoice to ensure accurate amount, period, and amount. Ensure invoices have the proper approval from department and obtain supporting documentation. Marketing and other invoices should follow PO approval process.
- Voucher invoices in NetSuite.
- Prepare vendor approval form for each invoice received. Properly categorize general ledger account, entity and brand. Obtain approval from Account Manager and CFO for each invoice.
- Responsible for American Express card reconciliation. Obtain and match all receipts with credit card charges. Follow the same voucher process.
- Coordinate with vendor for any invoice discrepancy.
- Assist in filing processed invoices in vendor folders
- Assist in preparing monthly account payable, accrued liabilities and payment analysis.
- Assist AP Manager on ad hoc projects.
Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree with a finance/business background
- At least 3 years of experience in AP role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle/NetSuite
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to be a strong business partner with both internal and external parties
- Flexible availability for month end and ad-hoc projects
Primary Location Salary Range:
$80,000 - $92,500
