Description : SUMMARY STATEMENT :
Our QA Technician will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the highest level of quality assurance. They will verify consistent quality of production by monitoring and enforcing good manufacturing practice (GMP) and global food safety initiative (GFSI) system; verification of production records; providing documentation for further review; observation, managing staff.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem from time to time.
- Food safety or quality responsibilities within job. All staff are responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues to those that can initiate action and uphold integrity of Authentic Brands of Chicago system.
1. Assure product throughout production process is carried out in accordance with plant HACCP, SSOP and GMP procedures.
2. Assure sanitation conditions in production areas are maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements.
3. Perform HACCP, SSOP and GMP related tasks. 4. Comply with all GMP and GFSI requirements
5. Assist USDA inspectors if required.
6. Monitor production processing via scheduled QA inspections.
7. Conduct necessary quality inspections using proper equipment and techniques.
8. Assist with problem solving - root cause analysis - corrective actions
9. Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspection results
10. Assist with training and instruction for production operators
11. Provide supervisor with detailed quality reports as required
12. Other duties as required by quality supervisor.
Requirements :
High School diploma / GED desired or equivalent
