Job Summary
Authentic Drilling specializes primarily in difficult access geotechnical drilling and is looking to expand our management team. We currently operate 9 drill rigs with 3 new rigs on order. Below is a combined list of the key management duties as this role requires the expertise and flexibility to be backup for other positions. Based on the qualifications of the applicant, the job title and duties will be defined.
- Create estimates and/or provide technical drilling advice for estimates
- Assess project requirements, technical specifications and project load lists.
- Manage the inventory of drilling tools, fluids, and other consumables
- Manage Well Licenses and Compliance
- Project Planning and Coordination
- Lead and manage drilling operations to ensure safety standards, regulation compliance and project specifications.
- Troubleshooting guidance for field with difficult or unexpected subsurface conditions
- Equipment malfunctions technical expertise and problem-solving
- Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and performance metrics for drilling operations, and management reporting.
- Evaluate team performance, address skill gaps, and resolve inefficiencies.
- Provide training and support to enhance team skills and enforce safe working practices.
- Implement best practices, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance drilling productivity, reduce downtime, and increase overall project profitability.
- Mentor and coach team members, promote a culture of safety, innovation, and excellence, and foster professional development opportunities.
- Strong organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization, and multitasking.
- Conduct jobsite evaluations and ensure accountability to company values.
- Provide coaching and guidance to team members as needed.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in the field.
- Assign and schedule employees to projects collaboratively.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
