As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in enhancing the quality and efficiency of our software development process. You will design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for web, mobile, and API-based applications. Working closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers, you will help drive test automation strategies, improve CI/CD pipelines, and ensure seamless product releases.

AuthenticID’s salary range for this position is $101,233-$140,250 per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Pursuant to the Washington Equal Pay Act, Colorado Fair Pay Act and the New York City Pay Transparency Law, the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Your level is based on our assessment of your interview performance and experience, which you can always ask the hiring manager about to understand in more detail. Salary is just one component of AuthenticID's total compensation package for employees. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, quality standards, and acceptance criteria.
- Develop and execute automated at various levels (UI, API, integration, end-to-end) ensuring high test coverage and reliability.
- Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and scalability of automation processes.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and deployment.
- Conduct performance, security, and load testing to identify system limitations.
- Develop data-driven test strategies using test datasets and mocking techniques for complex scenarios.
- Ability to identify and focus on high-risk areas to optimize testing efforts efficiently.
- Mentor junior QA engineers, sharing best practices in test automation, coding standards, and test design patterns.

Required Qualifications
- 4 - 5 years of experience in test automation and quality assurance, including scripting and framework development.
- Strong programming skills such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript or Java, with a strong grasp of object-oriented design principles.
- Hands-on experience with modern test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium) and design patterns (Page Object, Data-Driven).
- Expertise in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate with knowledge of RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
- Strong knowledge of Agile development and QA best practices.
- Experience using reporting tools (e.g., Zephyr, TestRail) and generating test metrics for visibility.
- Familiarity with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6, Gatling).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate testing strategies, defects, and automation progress.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and experience in testing microservices-based architectures.
- Understanding of security testing methodologies.
- Exposure to AI/ML-based testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus) to validate system performance during testing
