What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at authority?
One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning, an affiliate of Authority Brands Inc., is the premier heating and cooling specialist in the Corpus Christi area. We are looking for a Dispatcher who will schedule technician appointments at customer sites and facilitate communication between technicians, customers, and the company. Responsibilities:
Maintain the service technician schedules and dispatch technicians as service calls are completed.
Schedule technicians’ return trips with customers to complete jobs after arrival of parts.
Maintain on call schedule for service technician and after-hours service procedures.
Enter service calls, schedule calls, and generate call debriefing with technicians daily.
Maintain customer database, ensuring complete, accurate, and updated entry of information.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding company schedule, requested lead times, equipment services, invoicing, and general inquiries.
Respond to service technician requests both by radio and phone.
Follow up and schedule preventative maintenance service appointments.
Review completed service work orders for accuracy.
Prepare invoices and timecards for processing.
Participate in all company sponsored training classes.
Effectively manage conflict resolution with clients through clear communication and addressing all concerns, questions, or problems expediently.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Dispatcher experience greatly preferred.
HVAC industry or other trade industry experience a plus!
Excellent communication and listening skills required.
Focus on maintaining a courteous demeanor with all customers and associates required.
Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures a must.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Salary : $18 - $22
