What are the responsibilities and job description for the Franchise Business Consultant (Remote) position at authority?
The objective of the Franchise Business Consultant and Trainer is to provide operational, management, financial, and marketing support to franchise partners. This position is focused on coaching franchise partners on the utilization on our System of Business in the effort help them reach their personal and business goals. The successful candidate will effectively monitor and measure the results of our franchise partner’s business in relation to their goals by utilizing our tools and systems.
Responsibilities:
Be a business consultant and coach; build trust with franchise partners to influence growth and profitability within their organization.
Build strong positive relationships
Make weekly contact by phone to maintain a deep understanding of the business operations of our franchise partners; visit each franchise partner’s business premises at least annually for a full one or two days of on-site coaching and training
Keep franchise partners focused on creating happy clients, working with them on resolution with customer complaints or negative experience of service performance
Focus on each franchise partner profitability and financial health; work on creating annual budgets and reviewing the actual performance against the budgets
Provide the franchisee guidance on the correct staffing levels for their business; as necessary, train franchisees how to recruit and train of technicians, management, office and sales employees
Teach our franchise partners how to drive sales by training in the importance of educating the customer on additional needs and offering options by using our sales system
Help our franchise partners understand the importance of staying in compliance with the Franchise Agreement, and assisting when needed in the efforts to help the franchise partner become compliant
Provide guidance in the recruiting and retention of our franchise partner’s associates, and help in the development of their engagement to our company culture
Develop training materials, and can deliver presentations to large and small audiences; conduct training sessions for franchise partners and their associates
Perform other duties as required; duties may include assignments in job classification other than their own
Perform a monthly Profit and Loss statement review including YOY revenue
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and five (5) or more years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to be comfortable in dealing with business mathematics, particularly in reading and understanding financial statements. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must have strong computer skills and be familiar with all Microsoft Office Programs.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conforms to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
