Authors is a small-batch, premium ice cream company based out of Ashburn, Virginia that takes pride in embodying the values of family-owned craftsmanship, community togetherness, and the celebration of high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. Our ice cream has garnered a loyal following at farmers markets, festivals, and private events with our truck and cart services. As we expand operations, we're thrilled to open our first brick-and-mortar ice cream and coffee shop in Ashburn!

The Role

You will play a vital role in providing exceptional service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and delighting our customers with premium treats as a cafe staff member. Responsibilities

• Master the art of scooping and serving our premium ice cream flavors
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure a delightful experience for all customers
• Support day-to-day operations, including cashier duties and inventory management
• Assist with any set-up or clean-up needed in the shop

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm for serving ice cream at our shop
• Creating a welcoming environment for customers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude and wear multiple hats in regards to various shop duties
• Available on nights and weekends
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of product quality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
