We are seeking a Preschool Teacher to join our organization in our University Clinic! At Autism 360 we do exactly as our name suggests. Our programs are designed to encompass the whole child, not just the ASD diagnosis. Our mission has always been to change the world for children with autism and with your help, we can do just that.

This is a unique position creating, managing, and implementing preschool curriculum in an inclusive classroom setting. Each Classroom is overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, classroom size is small with each student having a dedicated assistant (behavior technician). Student ages range from 2.5-7 yrs old. This is a unique environment where ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) is combined with traditional Pre-K to prepare children for a traditional classroom setting.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Implement a pre-planned, research-based curriculum.
• Assist in developing schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
• Passionate about working with children
• Eagerness to learn about autism and work alongside children diagnosed with autism
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
