Job Summary:
As a Behavior Technician, you will work under the direct supervision of our BCBA/BCaBA professionals to deliver one-on-one or group therapy sessions aimed at implementing behavior management strategies and skill acquisition programs. Your role will involve providing support to clients and their families, collecting accurate data, collaborating with team members, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
Duties:
- Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction treatments as directed by BCBA/BCaBA.
- Train and support clients and families in developing socially acceptable behaviors.
- Collect precise data to track progress.
- Collaborate with team members and assist in client training.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients.
- Assist in clinical assessments and administrative tasks.
- Attend regular clinical supervision meetings.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports.
- Uphold strict confidentiality standards.
- Participate in staff trainings and communicate effectively with supervising BCBA/BCaBA.
Qualifications:
- Possession of RBT Certification or willingness to enroll and complete certification.
- Must have a highschool diploma or GED.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and insurance.
- Relevant experience in behavior management or special education is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
