What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Technician/RBT - FT/PT position at Autism Behavioral Institute?
We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a passion and desire to make a difference in the life of children with autism in Raleigh, North Carolina. Services may be provided in clinic or home-based settings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide home-based services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Introduces safe and appropriate replacement behaviors and reinforcers
- Follows the treatment plan goals and interventions utilizing sound judgment and seeks out appropriate consultation
- Collects behavior data including and records data in CentralReach after each session
- Participate in training and clinical supervision
- Work with and under the supervision of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts
Education, Experience and Other Requirements:
- Required: 40 HR RBT Course or Registered Behavior Technician Certification (RBT)
- Required: Valid driver's license and transportation
- Preferred: High School Diploma, Bachelors or Master's degree in the Human Service Field with a current RBT Certification
**All non registered BTs are required to obtain their RBT within 60 days of hire.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative and not all inclusive. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear and frequently required to stand; using hands and fingers; Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 25 lbs. may also be required.
Working Environment:
- Travel between client's homes will be required.
- Must be available to work afternoons and evenings until 6:30 pm
Pay Rate: up to $35 hourly.
