What you’ll be doing at Autism Care Partners:
The Mentee’s main objective is to prepare for the role of Behavior Analyst by:
- implementing ABA treatment goals in 1:1 client sessions with high fidelity
- meeting mastery criteria across six defined competencies as outlined in Phase 1 of the ACP Fieldwork Standards Guide,
- adhering to all components of the ACP Supervised Fieldwork Contract, and
- meeting the expectations for supervised fieldwork put forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
Essential Functions
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Perform all the duties of a Phase 1 Fieldwork Mentee as defined in job description.
- Provide scheduled 1:1 direct ABA treatment with clients for an average of 75% of hours worked each week.
- Allocate paid non-billable time to tasks defined as “unrestricted” by the BCBA Handbook for an average of 25% of hours worked each week.
- Display qualities appropriate for a role model.
- Model flexibility with team changes.
- Address concerns in a fair and constructive manner.
- Present a willingness to help.
- Build rapport with all therapy team members.
- Promote a positive work environment.
- Participate cultural initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Competencies
- Enthusiasm and positive can-do attitude
- Experience working and playing with young children primarily ages 2-6 years old

Education and Experience
- Education: Must be either enrolled in behavior analytic coursework, or have matriculated toward a degree in behavior analysis, or have completed a verified course sequence in behavior analysis.
- Licensures: Completion of RBT certification within 90 days
Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to frequently assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) while attending to the needs of active children.
- Must be willing and able to utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan while working with challenging behavior.

- Must be at least 18 years of age
