What you’ll be doing at Autism Care Partners:

The Managing BCBA/Center Lead is a key role at Autism Care Partners responsible for overseeing the day to day of their assigned center, as well as the development and implementation of appropriate programs and behavior intervention plans. The Managing BCBA/Center Lead will continually monitor all assigned teams within the center-based program (BCBAs, BTs/RBTs, and related services providers), providing support and tracking progress to ensure relevant, high-quality, evidence-based treatment delivery.

  • Review, edit, and approve skill acquisition programs in collaboration with BCBAs and Clinical Director, recommend modifications to instructional programs based on frequent, systematic evaluation of direct observational data. Ensure BCBAs employee a wide array of strategies to program for and assess both skill acquisition and skill generalization over time and across people, settings, situations, and materials.
  • Supervise the design and implementation of programs written by Behavior Analyst to reduce stereotypic, disruptive, and destructive behavior, based on systematic analysis of the variables (antecedents and consequences) that occasion and maintain the behavior and matching treatment to the determined function(s) of the behavior.
  • Supervise the implementation of functional assessments (including functional analyses) of challenging behavior and select the specific intervention suited to the behavior and the context Review, edit, and approve behavior guidelines (author, if necessary) Provides information about programming to parents.
  • Ensure that all staff are trained on best practice procedures based upon the principles of behavior analysis, and commensurate with the responsibilities of their job duties. Ensure Therapist competency through RBT certification. Track and ensure all therapists have received appropriate safety care training.
  • Facilitates site staff trainings and site staff clinical meetings.
  • Review resumes and supports Clinical Director in talent recruitment efforts
  • Conduct performance reviews for site staff alongside the Clinical Director
  • Create/develop performance improvement plans and/or other interventions with assistance of a Clinical Director
  • Review and approve initial assessments and 6-month reports written by Behavior Analysts.
  • Ensure continuous open communication with parents regarding adjustments to their child’s program, staffing changes, and all other program related information.
  • Develop and conduct ongoing training for site staff; directly supervise approximately 10% of each BT/RBT’s time.
  • Attend parent meetings as necessary to ensure both collaboration and training occur in an appropriate manner.
  • Supervise the development of transition plans for children as they exit the program. Closely supervise transition programs that offer therapy outside the clinical setting.
  • Works to positively impact team spirit and overall morale.
  • Regular and predictable attendance and presence at respective center is an essential requirement of this position.
  • Complete all clinical documentation and billing via electronic health record (EHR) in a thorough, efficient, and timely manner, in compliance with internal and external quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to the BACBs Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analyst.

Education and Experience

  • Education: Master's degree in Behavior Analysis (Degree in ABA preferred). BCBA required.
  • Licensures: State Behavior Analyst licensure required.
  • Work Experience: At least 1 year of experience working as a BCBA, with at least 2 years of experience working with children diagnosed with autism. Experience with behavior intervention plan development and programming for children diagnosed with autism.
  • Supervise Staff? Yes

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to frequently assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) while attending to the needs of active children.
  • Must be willing and able to utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan while working with challenging behavior.

  • Ability to operate basic office equipment
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
