Job Summary
- Provide direct care services and specialized support in daily living, social, and recreational activities.
- Assist individuals in achieving maximum independence through personalized support plans.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized support plans.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals in your care.
- Encourage participation in various activities at home and in the community.
- Monitor behaviors and physical changes, utilizing prescribed strategies to support individuals.
- Document and report client progress, case notes, billing information, and relevant reports.
- Participate in regular supervision sessions with BCBA candidates.
- Report hours worked directly with clients in ABA-related services.
- Perform household tasks and vehicle cleaning duties as needed.
- Perform additional duties as required by the director.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Fluent English language skills.
- A valid driver's license, car insurance, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Experience working with children, those with disabilities, or adults with disabilities preferred.
- An unwavering passion for excellence and commitment to serving others.
- Full-time availability (8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Friday).
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Quick reaction time and ability to respond to sudden movements.
- Ability to stand and walk for 75% of the workday.
- Ability to perform physical demands of the job, including bending, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and sitting on the floor.
- Reliable transportation for commuting to client homes and clinics within 30 minutes each way.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Motivation to become a Registered Behavior Technician within 90 days through our training program.
