Job Summary:
We are seeking responsible and caring individuals to fill Behavior Technician positions. As a Caring Specialist - Autism Support, you will provide direct care services and specialized support in daily living, social, and recreational activities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support plans and participate in their development and implementation.
- Assist and encourage individuals to engage in various activities at home and in the community.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals, observing behaviors and changes in physical condition.
- Maintain confidential client case notes, billing information, and reports for parents and professionals.
- Participate in required 10-20% BCBA supervision per month.
- Report scheduled weekly hours for ABA-related services once assigned to a client.
Requirements:
- Proof of high school diploma or transcripts.
- A valid driver's license, car insurance, a good driving record, and a reliable vehicle.
- Experience working with children, children with disabilities, or adults with disabilities is a plus.
- A passion for excellence and an unquestionable commitment to those we serve.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and respond quickly to sudden movements.
- Ability to walk and stand 75% of the workday.
- Commitment to becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within 90 days of employment through our training program.
