Conduct speech-language assessments as needed or
-
Maintain a caseload of clients
-
Develop comprehensive individual treatment plans
-
Monitor and modify treatment plans as necessary
-
Participate in team meetings and leadership meetings
-
Collaborate with community providers (e.g., therapists, teachers, etc.)

Collaborate with AFTS BCBAs and Executive Team
-
Maintain certification and licensure
-
Remain in compliance with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Speech-Language Pathologists
QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior experience working with children with autism as young as 2 years old is required

Applicant must be physically able to lift children, run with children, and walk up and down a flight of stairs multiple times a day while also carrying a child

Applicant must be a licensed SLP in the state of Kansas

Start date is contingent upon credentialing status with third-party payors

Schedule will generally be Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm although you may be asked to stay later if needed based on client or staffing needs, or as requested by the Company from time to time.

Location will include both AFTS centers located in Lenexa, KS and Shawnee, KS.

You will report to the Chief Clinical Officer or her representative.

Employment Classification: Full-time, Exempt, Regular

We are closed three full weeks during the year and those weeks are paid. You are not expected to work during these breaks.

On days we have unexpected closures (e.g., inclement weather), you will be asked to continue to work (see handbook for details).

Pay Day is bi-weekly on Fridays and made via direct deposit.

You will be granted 7 paid holidays, with one being your birthday.

You will be provided with uniform tops consisting of 5 company t-shirts. You are responsible for providing black scrub pants and "house shoes" on your first day.

Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance are available at the start of your employment. The company covers the cost of the Life Insurance and contributes to the Health Insurance premium.

An annual Paid Time Off (PTO) Bank of 10 days is available after your first 90 days of employment. PTO does not accrue, nor rollover year to year. PTO is expected to be used judiciously (see employee handbook).

Your employment with the Company will be "at will," meaning that either you or the Company will be entitled to terminate your employment at any time and for any reason, with or without cause. This is the full and complete agreement between you and the Company on this term. Any contrary representations, which may have been made to you, are superseded by this offer. Although your job duties, title, compensation and benefits, as well as the Company’s personnel policies and procedures, may change from time to time, the "at will" nature of your employment may only be changed in an express written agreement signed by you and a duly authorized officer of the Company.

All forms of compensation referred to in this letter are subject to reduction to reflect applicable withholding and payroll taxes.
