Behavior Technician:
Autism of America is seeking Behavior Technicians or qualified candidates to join our team! We are searching for a wide range of candidates who are willing to be fully trained and certified in order to work in the field of Autism providing ABA therapy. We are looking for candidates who are up-beat and enthusiastic to join our team at Autism of America to help us change the lives of each client we work with! Our Behavior Technicians will be working one-on-one providing in-home or center-based therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Employment Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- Minimum education of a High School diploma/GED
- Must be able to pass background checks (can not have a criminal history)
- Drivers license
- Passionate about working with children or individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Ability to communicate effectively and receptively
- Must be CPR/First aid/AED certified before starting therapy with the client
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and get on and off the ground easily to move with clients to ensure their safety
- After school availability preferred

Duties:
- Provide 1:1 direct therapy with your client under guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Follow client specific plans of service and treatment plans
- Complete daily SOAP notes
- Maintain communication with supervisors & parents about client progress
- Must be a team player
- Maintain positive relationships with parents, coworkers, clients, and other personnel (CMH staff)
- Must be able to exhibit self-control with clients, families, or coworkers who become upset
- Maintain professional appearance at all times
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to Relocate:
- Sturgis, MI 49091: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
