We offer a competitive salary of $22 per hour, with opportunities for growth as an Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This is a full-time, in-person position, working Monday through Friday, with hours typically between 8am and 5:30pm. You can expect to work approximately 35-40 hours per week.
Job Description:
As a Registered Behavior Therapist at Autism Partnership, you will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with children with ASD, providing individualized behavior interventions and support. You will be part of a dynamic team that values ongoing training and professional development, with regular supervision and mentorship from experienced BCBA's.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess prior experience working with children or individuals with ASD, as well as a strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices. You must also be able to pass the RBT exam before exiting training and meet certain physical requirements, such as being able to lift up to 35 pounds independently and repeatedly. Additionally, you must have access to reliable transportation, a valid TB test clearance, and be able to work in the Seal Beach/Long Beach area. Prior experience as an RBT or related field is highly preferred.
