About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to design and implement individualized treatment plans for children with ASD. You will also provide one-on-one support to children in a clinic-based setting, using evidence-based techniques to promote positive behaviors and skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct care to children with ASD in a clinic-based setting
* Implement individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAs
* Use evidence-based techniques to promote positive behaviors and skills
* Collaborate with BCBAs to design and implement new treatment plans as needed
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and program data
Requirements
* Prior experience working with children with ASD or other developmental disabilities preferred
* Must be able to pass RBT exam before exiting training
* Must have access to reliable transportation
* Must provide a TB test clearance
* Must be able to lift, move, and carry objects weighing up to thirty-five pounds independently and repeatedly
* Able to sit on the ground or small chairs and bend and move at the waist
* Must pass a criminal background clearance through DOJ and FBI
