What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Technician/ RBT position at Autism Services Center?
We are looking for Behavior Technicians to work in our ABA clinic in St. Albans, WV. ABA clinics provide services to children aged 2 to 21.
Behavior Technicians will:
Provide for overall safety and health of the clients.
Implement the daily client schedule that is based upon the individual client Treatment Plan or IPPs.
Implement behavior support programs that are individualized for each client.
Provide transportation for clients as needed.
Guide, teach and assist clients in skill development and community involvement.
Participate in community activities with clients and teach appropriate social interaction.
Reasonably react to crises and incidents.
Behavior Technician Required Training:
10 hours of classroom instruction
Pass a competency test with a minimum of 80% test score
Accumulation of five proficiency checklists with a minimum score of 80%.
40 hours of Approved RBT Training
Pass the BACB certification test
Must have pass a WV Cares Background Check and a drug test.
Must have a Driver's License.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
