What You’ll Do
As a Camp Royall Cook, you will:
- Prepare, cook and serve all meals according to the menu and dietary requirements. This includes cutting, mixing, cooking over stovetop, baking and serving, while maintaining sanitation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area, which meets all food safety and sanitation standards, including performing daily refrigeration and freezer temperature checks.
- Assist with planning food orders and deliveries.
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during meal service, including supervision of all volunteers and kitchen janitors.
- Participate in all pre-service facility/kitchen training and scheduled staff meetings
- Ability to maintain shift schedule, as determined by the Facility Managers
Dates:
- Summer 2025: June 1-June 27, 2025 (first half) & July 6-August 8, 2025 (second half)
- Year-Round: Various weekends Sept-May as well as many weeklong retreat and camp weeks
