Description
The Autism Society of North Carolina is currently hiring for a full-time Staffing Specialist to recruit, select, hire and place staff who provide direct services to individuals with autism, across programs and service departments within the Fayetteville area. The Staffing Specialist also implements and supports various HR tasks within the region. A strong candidate MS Excel, MS Office and virtual meeting platforms is preferred and the candidate must possess strong organization skills and excellent oral and written communication skills. The role requires strong time management and multi-tasking while demonstrating simultaneous attention to detail. Must be able to work with minimal supervision in a hybrid work environment, to meet staffing timelines and target placement metrics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages full cycle of recruitment, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding activities for candidates for direct care positions within the regional catchment area using a variety of sources and tools.
- Collaborates with all relevant regional and centralized staff as needed to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the hiring cycle.
- Identifies qualified candidates that match open positions, extends offers of employment and initiates onboarding activities with successfully placed candidates.
- Acts as local site contact for general HR activities and questions
- Performs other duties as requested by central HR, regional leadership or services leadership.

This position will serve the Fayetteville Region and requires occasional travel and driving to surrounding areas.

Qualifications
High School Diploma required. Minimum of one-year recruiting/sales experience preferred. Human services experience a plus.
