Position Overview
As a Behavior Technician (RBT) at ASC, you will work closely with a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement evidence-based ABA therapy, helping children develop essential skills and reach their full potential. You will work one-on-one with children and their families in home, school, and community settings.
What You’ll Do
- Provide in-person behavior intervention services in various settings (home, school, community).
- Implement individualized treatment plans (ITPs) designed by a BCBA.
- Collect and accurately record behavioral data to track progress and inform treatment decisions.
- Encourage safe and socially appropriate behaviors to support skill development.
- Collaborate with families and team members to ensure consistent, effective treatment.
- Educate parents on reinforcement techniques and early intervention strategies.
- Utilize sound judgment and seek guidance as needed to implement intervention plans.
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to ethical standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Minimum 6 months of ABA experience (preferred)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Effective oral, written, and reading communication skills
