About the Position
Behavior Technicians Behavioral Interventionists are provided extensive training in basic behavior analytic principles. One-to-One services are provided to the consumer to address skill deficits and behavioral excesses using a variety of behavior analytic strategies. These services involve interacting with the consumer, implementing intervention plans, collecting on-going data and adjusting contingencies to affect targeted behavior positively.
ASI provides home, school and community based behavioral intervention services throughout Orange County, Long Beach and throughout Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties. We are looking to employ individuals as Behavior Interventionists who are studying Psychology, Education, Marriage and Family Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy or a similar field and are interested in employment. Many students find this work very rewarding as it allows them a firsthand opportunity to work in their field of interest, pays well and the hours are flexible . This is a great opportunity for students to gain paid work experience in the field.
Qualifications
- Be over the age of 18
- Pass live scan fingerprint check
- Be available to commute to different locations to provide services
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent such as General Educational Development (GED)

Applicants must be fully available during one of these time slots, with no partial availability :
Monday-Friday : 7 : 00AM - 8 : 00PM
Monday-Friday : 2 : 00PM - 8 : 00PM
Salary : $19 - $23
