Job Description
- Provide direct care services and specialized care in daily living, social and recreational activities.
- Provide assistance and support to foster maximum independence of individuals.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the individual support plan.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals.
- Assist and encourage individuals to engage in various activities in the home and community.
- Observe individuals’ behaviors and changes in physical condition, utilize prescribed strategies to assist the individual, and document and report accordingly.
- Write and maintain confidential client case notes, billing information, and all relevant reports, as well as information for parents and other professionals
- Participate in required 10-20% supervision per month with BCBA per month
- Report hours planned per week to work directly with a client in ABA related services once schedule is provided
- Perform needed housekeeping and cleaning duties (home and vehicle).
- Perform any additional duties as deemed necessary by the director
- Protect clients’ rights and privacy according to HIPAA regulations
Requirements:
- Proof of high school diploma or transcripts.
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- A valid driver's license with proof of car insurance, a good driving record and your own reliable vehicle.
- Experience working with children, children with disabilities, or adults with disabilities is a plus.
