Behavior Technician (Part-Time)
Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE), a premier provider of Applied Behavior Analysis, provides home-based ABA therapy in the Triangle area (Richmond, Chester, Petersburg).

Be a catalyst for change in the lives of children with autism and other developmental challenges! AutismCOE is currently seeking responsible, caring, and dedicated individuals to fill Part time Behavior Technician positions.
Job Description:
- Provide direct care services and specialized support in daily living, social, and recreational activities.
- Assist and encourage individuals to engage in various activities at home and in the community.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized support plans.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals.
- Observe individuals’ behaviors and changes in physical condition, utilize prescribed strategies, and document and report accordingly.
- Maintain confidential client case notes, billing information, and reports for parents and professionals.
- Participate in required 10-20% BCBA supervision per month.
- Report scheduled weekly hours for ABA-related services once assigned to a client.
- Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties (home and vehicle) as needed.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect clients' rights and privacy.
Schedule:
- Part-time position
- 4 PM - 6:00 PM | Tuesday & Thursday
Requirements:
- Proof of high school diploma or transcripts.
- A valid driver's license, car insurance, a good driving record, and a reliable vehicle.
- Experience working with children, children with disabilities, or adults with disabilities is a plus.
- A passion for excellence and an unquestionable commitment to those we serve.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and respond quickly to sudden movements.
- Ability to walk and stand 75% of the workday.
- Ability to bend, kneel, squat, crawl, and sit on the floor throughout the workday.
- Must be able to move short distances (up to 100 ft) quickly to engage with clients.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Willingness to commute up to 30 minutes to client homes or clinics to provide services.
- Commitment to becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within 90 days of employment through our training program.
