Job Summary
The Rehabilitation Technician plays a vital role in supporting the rehabilitation team by assisting patients in their recovery process. Duties
- Assist therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients undergoing rehabilitation.
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure all necessary equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
- Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients on exercises and techniques to enhance their recovery at home.
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress notes.
- Help patients with mobility and assist them in performing exercises safely.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and improvements.
Skills
