This position is hybrid, and you must reside within driving distance of our offices in Costa Mesa, CA and Los Angeles, CA to attend meetings and team collaborations as needed.
This position will be headquartered in Costa Mesa, CA.
This position is responsible for developing a social media calendar that manages and grows customer acquisition and customer loyalty across ACE through a strong and consistent social media presence. Work cross-functionally to create campaigns that increase reach and raise awareness of our products and services. Monitor and triage social media comments and messages to retain and win back customers and build a positive online community. Create high levels of satisfaction among users on social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. Support eBusiness team with other digital marketing initiatives as required.
What You'll Do
Post Creation and Execution
Create consistent presence on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X) to support member benefits, advocacy initiatives, employee retention, and recruiting.
Ensure strong reach and engagement by:
Writing copy
Sourcing assets
Tagging partners
Using appropriate hashtags
Vet and approve posts submitted through Sprinklr.
Customer Care
Act as a liaison for online communities by:
Responding to and resolving questions/comments promptly.
Escalating member issues to appropriate departments.
Notify Public Affairs of any negative comments with viral potential and apply sound judgment.
Analytics and Reporting
Research and analyze social media data across platforms.
Report results, evaluate performance, and recommend improvements based on findings.
Monitor competitor activity and present competitive analyses to management.
Content Curation and Planning
Manage and populate the content calendar thoughtfully.
Align messaging across regions, LOBs, and overall social media strategy.
Pre-plan content, collect approvals, and meet deadlines.
Continued Education
Research and stay updated on social media algorithms and best practices.
Utilize industry research to track trends, report insights, and recommend changes.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing and communication campaigns.
Identify appropriate social media channels and tailor campaigns to target audiences.
Executive Communication
Produce campaign decks, results reporting, and other recaps for executive communication in collaboration with manager.
Compliance and Guidelines
Monitor and enforce social media policies and guidelines.
Recommend updates to policies as needed.
Ensure compliance with AAA federation regulations, advertising standards, copyright, and privacy laws.
Other Duties
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
What You'll Need
BS/BA degree in marketing, communications, business, English, or other related field and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience is required.
3-5 years of experience in digital marketing or social media marketing.
Prior experience in customer service role a plus.
Advanced writing and editing skills, with special emphasis on social media content with understanding of how to optimize content for online consumption.
Advanced analytics and research skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Skill in managing profiles and accounts such as Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube, as well as Pinterest, TikTok and other emerging social media platforms.
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to prioritize workload, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and meet demanding deadlines.
Capacity to find creative, innovative solutions for simple or complex problems.
Familiarity with blog monitoring/listening tools.
Familiarity with project management tools.

The starting pay range for this position is:
$58,500.00 - $77,900.00
Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
