Job Title: Automotive Painter
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Automotive Painter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive painting, with a focus on quality and precision. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and apply high-quality paint finishes on vehicles
- Mix paints, solvents, and other materials to achieve proper color match and texture
- Sand, mask, and clean vehicle surfaces before painting
- Ensure proper curing and drying times for finishes
- Perform touch-ups and minor repairs on paint jobs when necessary
- Work with the body shop team to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an automotive painter (2 years preferred)
- Experience with modern painting techniques and tools (spray guns, air compressors, etc.)
- Strong understanding of color matching, blending, and proper preparation
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
- Certifications in Automotive Painting (e.g., I-CAR, ASE) are a plus
