Reporting directly to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for various accounting duties and other tasks necessary to maintain accurate and detailed accounting records. Role and Responsibilities
- Data entry into multiple systems
- General ledger maintenance
- Preparing monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close
- Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required
- Work with other team members to efficiently carry out daily tasks
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA or CPA candidate a plus
- Minimum 2-5 years accounting experience
- Customer service oriented
- Self-motivated with the ability to complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage time and workload
- Quickly adapt to change and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- High attention to detail; able to methodically review the execution of procedures and identify issues
- Proficient level of computer skills including Microsoft Office Applications, experience with Oracle NetSuite a plus
