Sales Floor/Backup Finance Manager

Core Floor Manager Responsibilities:

· Operational Management:

· Overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth functioning.

· Managing staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.

· Ensuring customer experience and operational efficiency are maintained.

· Maintaining and reporting on issues related to maintenance and upkeep.

· Customer Service:

· Greeting and assisting customers.

· Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues.

· Building rapport with customers.

· Inventory Management:

· Ensuring proper stock levels and presentation.

· Participating in inventory counts and cycle counting.

· Working with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.

Backup Finance Responsibilities:

· Cash Handling:

· Overseeing cash and credit card transactions.

· Ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately.

· Cashing up at the end of the shift.

· Financial Procedures:

· Assisting with financial reporting and reconciliation.

· Understanding and adhering to financial policies and procedures.

· Supporting the finance team with tasks as needed.

· Sales Support:

· Training sales staff on financial procedures and regulations.

· Ensuring proper paperwork is completed for all transactions.

· Working with sales leads to reinforce business priorities.

Qualifications

• Strong inventory management and control skills
• Proven experience in retail sales and customer service
• Proficient in POS systems and cash register operations
• Effective team management and supervisory experience
• Knowledge of purchasing and payroll processes
• Excellent negotiation and organizational skills
• Ability to evaluate employee performance and conduct interviews
• Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
