Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate, detailed, and transparent repair estimates for customers.
- Communicate with customers regarding the condition of their vehicles, necessary repairs, and estimated timelines.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure repairs meet the highest standards.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, repair techniques, and vehicle technologies.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the repair process to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Monitor repairs, parts, and materials throughout the repair process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive service or body shop environments is preferred.
- Ability to interact professionally and courteously with customers, coworkers, and industry professionals.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical information to customers.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
- Familiarity with service writing and estimating software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
Physical Working Conditions
This position is subject to both inside and outside environmental working conditions, including but not limited to temperature fluctuations, weather conditions, moderate ambient noise levels, and minor physical hazards related to electrical, mechanical, and cleaning equipment. There may also be exposure to atmospheric conditions affecting the skin or respiratory systems, such as fumes, odors, and dust associated with working in a collision repair facility.
